Ondřej Vaněček recently introduced his project, on which he has been working for the past three years. It is a document called the “FIDIC Ultimate Diagram”. This diagram graphically depicts the contract conditions of the FIDIC Red and Yellow Books from 1999. The diagram covers almost all contract deadlines and key steps in projects managed according to FIDIC contract conditions. The diagram is available in Czech, English, and Slovak.
You can use the diagram to quickly find contract deadlines or to understand the next steps according to the contract. It is an excellent tool for better understanding, interpreting, and explaining FIDIC contract terms, which can help us all better manage a construction contract. It is important to mention that the diagram represents a simplified interpretation of the Contract and does not display all the possibilities offered by the FIDIC contract terms.
